Gospel Boot Camp

Our Credentials

Our Gospel Boot Camps are hosted by The Church Planting Network. - Our core emphasis is to train men to clearly and contextually present the Gospel, and to be church multipliers, starting not just one church plant, but a network of gospel-centered churches.

Our Purpose

The Church Planting Network (TCPN) seeks to expand the kingdom of God by collaborating with church planters to launch new churches and replant declining churches. TCPN recruits and assesses men who have received a calling from God and equipping them with the training, mentoring, and financial resources they need to be successful. We work exclusively with indigenous leaders in over seven countries. Our mission is to train men to clearly present the Gospel, and to start gospel-centered churches that network together to plant new churches. Disciple making is at our core and establishes all that we do.

Our History

The Church Planting Network’s leadership team and Church Planting Board have experience in planting over 260 churches in seven countries on three continents. Our success is due entirely to our commitment to only support churches that preach the complete gospel of Jesus Christ and become self-supporting.

David Nicholas

With over 45 years in ministry, and 35 years in church planting, our President David Nicholas has acquired a tremendous track record of supporting the starting of several church planting churches including Tim Keller’s Redeemer Church, Darrin Patrick’s Journey Church, and Chan Kilgore’s CrossPointe Church. David planted and pastored Spanish River Church for 42 ½ years, and led it to becoming #5 on Leadership Network’s “America’s Top 25 Multiplying Churches” list.

“Whatever Happened to the Gospel?”

The Gospel Boot Camp’s curriculum was crafted after the material in David Nicholas’ book “Whatever Happened to the Gospel?” The book contains valuable statistics gathered by a team at Lifeway Research, and practical applications to remedy the gospel-less culture in many churches today. “Whatever Happened to the Gospel?” is included in the materials provided at the Gospel Boot Camp.

“…David points out the problem but also provides a solution– a clear presentation of the bad news and the good news. You’ll be challenged to make the gospel more clear.”

- Ed Stetzer, President of LifeWay Research
