Why Boot Camps?
Only 6% of Pastors Preach the Gospel

The Problem:
The Church is in the middle of a pandemic. The US has become the new mission field, boasting more unchurched than anywhere else in the Western Hemisphere. In response, a battle cry has gone out from many pulpits to be “Gospel-Centered”, but seldom can any two people can agree on what the gospel is. Churches are doing everything to reach out, from concerts to business breakfasts, but have proven ineffective in curing the problem. New churches are being formed to reach the lost that older churches are failing to. Biblical churches have lost the focus on evangelism and consequently we are not fulfilling our mission. Why? According to a recent LifeWay Research survey, only 6% of pastors preach the gospel in a clear complete and logical way. Consequently, the gospel is misunderstood, neglected, and no longer in its rightful place in many churches today.
The Cure:
The Cure? The Church must return to its mission, to that which is of first importance; the gospel message of Jesus Christ. In order to do that the Church needs men, women and children that are clear on what the gospel is, what it is not, and how to most effectively communicate it to the world. Pastors and leaders, the responsibility to teach them falls on you. So how are you doing? The Church Planting Network wants to help you do better, and steward those entrusted to you with excellence. Gospel Boot Camps is our response to the problem. If the gospel is the cure, then Gospel Boot Camps is the clinic. Over the course of two days, we will work together to rediscover the gospel. We will cover a range of topics…
